My New Spirit Animal

Yesterday, I shared the story of the impressive creature I chose to represent my brand.  While tiny—typically less than a millimeter in length—it is virtually invincible: It can survive in both freezing and boiling temperatures and at both extremely low and high altitudes. It can even survive in outer space and be revived after being fully dehydrated for several years. This creature is known as the tardigrade.

I am awed by the quiet strength of this tiny creature.  So I’m excited to announce I’m rebranding my business as Tardigrade Media.

So Why a Tardigrade?

This creature’s story really resonated with me. My most memorable clients have all come to me with remarkable stories of resilience, adaptation, and growth, which I helped them bring to life as books, white papers, or web copy.

Here are some of the projects I’ve loved the most:

What do all these great people and organizations have in common? They’re all survivors, dedicated to continuous growth and learning. They all triumphed over past mistakes, growing pains, and the challenge of adapting and thriving in a fast-changing world.

And by working with me to put their stories and lessons into writing, they have ensured that their message will endure.

Why “Media”?

Let’s make one thing clear: The written word is not dead, and won’t be anytime soon.  But the forms in which it can be deployed have evolved—so my business has too. Here are some of the ways Tardigrade Media (along with my trusted partners in book design, photography, and more) can help you amplify your signal:

  • ·         Books—editing and ghostwriting

  • ·         Coaching and project development support for writers

  • ·         Blog posts

  • ·         Web copy

  • ·         E-book formatting and cover design

  • ·         Video scripts

  • ·         Speeches

  • ·         And more…

Tardigrade Media strives to capture your message and your voice in writing, no matter what medium you choose.

I’m excited about this next step and the many promising new opportunities for sharing stories and amplifying our voices.
